Test Principle

  1. Total IgE from the sample binds with the anti-IgE on the solid phase.
  2. Unbound material is removed in a washing stage.
  3. Enzyme labeled anti-IgE is added which binds to total IgE.
  4. Unbound anti-human-IgE is removed in a washing stage.
  5. Substrate is added and the solution is incubated.
  6. Stop solution is added.
  7. The colour is measured with a photometer and the amount of total IgE is estimated using a standard curve.
